Month 1 Review – Insanity Max:30

This is the face of someone that just survived month 1 of Insanity Max: 30 with 26 days left before vacation. I am still on track to finish the day before we leave. Those of you wondering if I am still in love the answer is yes. Most definitely, this may be my favorite program.

I loved PiYo and it did amazing things for my running but there were days that my heart wasn’t in the workouts. There hasn’t been a single day so far were I have not wanted to workout. I even managed to get in my first run since September on Thursday. I felt great and haven’t lost any speed. Just another testament to how strong IM:30 is as fitness program!

I would have loved to tell you I lost 10 lbs but the transformation my body has gone through in the last 30ish days has been mind blowing. I feel so much stronger and leaner.

I have lost some weight doing IM:30, as of this morning I was down 4 lbs. I will be taking measurements in the morning and my transformation pictures will be coming soon!

Transformation Tuesday – PiYo Edition

In the spirit of transformation I am stepping out of my comfort zone to share my own PiYo results! In addition to the weight and inches lost I was also able to shave 9 minutes off my half marathon time. I feel so much stronger after finishing this program. I can’t wait to do it again after 21 day fix!

Transformation Tuesday… Half Marathon Addition

This weekend I ran a sub 2 hour half marathon!!! I have been working towards this for 3 years with a short break to have my son last year.

The difference maker was my cross training this summer. I started doing PiYo in July four times a week in addition to my half training schedule. With PiYo on my side I was able to beat my half PR by over 8 minutes.

Shake & Share Saturday

I was pretty excited about my Shakeology after my Half Marathon yesterday. Normally I am a butterfinger shake kind of girl but I decided to try something new.

Chocolate & PB Cheesecake Shakeology! It was as good as it sounds!

1 scoop chocolate shakeology
2 tbsp PB2
1 tbsp sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
1 c water
Add ice and blend.

It was a great way to cap offa wonderful and very sweaty run!
